Influenza (Flu) Information
In preparation for the 2009-2010 flu season, Collin County Health Care will begin offering influenza (flu) vaccinations for adults only (age 19 and older) beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Vaccinations for children will be available at a later date. These are the regular flu vaccinations offered every year at this time; vaccinations for the H1N1 virus will not be available until later in the year.
Influenza vaccinations will be offered to adults Monday through Friday from 8 am to 11 am, and 1 pm to 4 pm. Medicare Part B and Texas Medicaid will be accepted. Please bring Medicare or Medicaid cards to the clinic. For those who do not have Medicare Part B or Medicaid, the cost for the adult vaccine is $20. Cash and checks are accepted. Payment can be made with cash or check. Please wear short sleeves if possible.
